A Golf Holiday on La Torre Golf Resort Is a Golfers Dream Break!

La Torre golf resort is a fantastic place for a golf holiday in Spain.
La Torre is the second resort to be completed by Polaris World and, like the other Polaris World golf resorts, is built around a Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course. La Torre also features a driving range and golf practice facilities, and a fully stocked pro shop with knowledgeable staff.
The resort offers many different types of accommodation options including various styles of villa, duplex townhouses and an array of luxurious apartments. No matter what type of accommodation you choose, you will not be very far from one of the many communal swimming pools - indeed if you choose a villa you may even have your own!
Also, the whole La Torre complex is enclosed in a secure perimeter fence with gated security - reassuring if you have children in your party.
You don't have to be a golfer though to enjoy a holiday on La Torre - it is also ideal for family holidays. There is a wonderful "Town Centre" within which you will find many bars and restaurants, an internet lounge and an on-site bank. Near the resort entrance you will find a large fully stocked supermarket.
The recently opened 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel is a place of relaxation and luxury offering spa treatments and fine dining. Other restaurants and bars on La Torre include La Encine (Club House), The Clover (Irish themed) Pub, The Wood House Bar, El Roble (Tapas Bar), and La Acacia (Italian restaurant).
La Torre is also just one of the golf courses that make up the "Nicklaus Golf Trail" in the area. The others being on Mar Menor resort, Hacienda Riquelme resort, Condado de Alhama resort and El Valle resort which was also home to the 2011 Senior Spanish Open. And the good news is that if you stay on any of these Polaris World resorts you are free to play any of the courses on the Niclaus Trail.
You are also not far at all from the wonderful beaches of the Costa Calida, including the Mar Menor ("little sea")which is a huge salty lagoon and one of the best places in Europe for all kinds of water sports.
So if you are considering a golf holiday in Spain then La Torre (or one of the other Polaris World resorts) should be one place on your list of possible destinations!
